Liliana
Liliana is a teacher employed at the Marang Library which was built on the banks of the Ruanga river in Borneo and opened by the MEDyARTE Charity in 2018. She is 27 years old and is a graduate in English from Palangkaraya University.
Liliana has made an amazing impact on the literacy, school performance, confidence and development of the local village children. We are extremely impressed with her commitment to working in rural Indonesia. We would like to be able to continue to support Liliana in her post as a teacher on an ongoing basis. Clinic in Nepal
In November 2019 we opened a medical centre in one of the highest villages in the world, at 4200m. Until now, the local population of around 1000 people needed to walk for 3 days to reach the nearest medical post. During the winter time this was not possible as the surrounding villages are cut off by snow and bad weather conditions. To maintain the clinic on a long-term basis we need your help.
